D40-5510; 1942 Two-Piece Dress

9-piece pattern originally by DuBarry, '(Wrap) top is tucked in front and has a surplice closing which ties at left side.

Three-quarter or short sleeves may be used.  Skirt is joined at upper edge to a waistband'.

3/4" seams are given at underarm (all side) seams and 1/2" seams are given on all other edges.

SUGGESTED FABRICS: Spun rayon, printed silks, faille, challis, satin, novelty silks, sheer wools, chiffon wools, wool crepe, printed cottons, novelty cottons, cotton lace, sheer cottons, lawn.

Sizes:

Size set A fits 14-20 (32" to 38" bust, 26-1/2" to 32" waist, 35" to 41" hip).

Size set B fits 40-46 (40" to 46" bust, 34" to 40" waist, 43" to 49" hip).
